9월 29일 American Legion Ronald Reagan Palisades Post 283에서 열린 한미동맹 70주년 기념식에 서 대한민국 육군협회 미국지부의 초대로 김혜자 회장이 주한미군의 역활에 감사의 말을 전했다. 김 회장을 응원하기 위해 이혜심 이사, 수지 오 전 담당관, 이선희 서기, 그리고 박혜정 회원도 참석했다.

At the ceremony commemorating the 70th anniversary of the US-Republic of Korea Mutual Defense Treaty on September 29th, KPLA President Heaja Kim gave a remark to thank the US soldiers stationed in Korea for their service. KPLA members Heather Lee, Dr. Suzie Oh, Sunhee Lee, and Hye Jung Park also attended the event at the American Legion Ronald Reagan Palisades Post 283
