KOWIN의 취지
세계 한민족 여성 네트워크(Korean Women’s International Network)는 글로벌 시대를 맞아 전 세계에서 활약하고 있는 한민족 여성 인적 자원을 개발.활용하고 국내.외 여성및 세계 각지역 한민족 여성의 연대를 강화하고자 2001년 여성부 출범과 더불어 올해로 21회를 맞이 하였습니다.
세계 한민족 여성 네트워크는 국내외 한민족 여성들의 연대 강화와 상호 교류, 재외 한민족 여성 리더 양성, 한민족 여성의 정체성 제고를 통한 세대 간 지역 간 연대 강화및 한 민족 여성 네트위크의 확산에 이바지 하는 것을 목적으로 합니다다.
세계 한민족 여성 네트워크 회의에는 선임 지역담당관, 연도별 주제에 적합한 한민족 여성리더 (여성 CEO) 정치인, 공무원, 법조인, 언론인,종교인, 예술인, 과학자,교육자등 전문 분야에서 두각을 나타내고 있는 한민족 여성들이 참가하게 됩니다.
세계 한민족 여성 네트워크를 통해 한민족 여성의 네트워크를 조직화하고 국내.외 한인 여성간의 실질적 교류및 협력을 강화하여 해외 여성 인적 자원 발굴과 양성에 주력함으로서 한민족 여성으로서 긍지와 자부심을 고취 시키고자 노력하고 있습니다.
우리의 다짐

2.우리는 한민족임과 동시에 거주하는 세계지역의 문화와 전통을 이해하며, 그 지역사회에 공헌하는 세계인이다.
3.우리는 각자의개성과 환경을 이해하며, 가진 재능과 경험과 지식을 함께 나눈다.
4.우리는 우리의 네트워크를 소중히 여기며, 속한 회원간의 우애증진과 상호교류,이익창출과 미래번영을 도모한다.

6.우리는 주위를 돌아보며 어렵고 소외된 지역의 여성들에게 도움과 베품의 손길을 펴나간다.
7.우리는 앞 세대를 존경하고, 차세대와 후세대를 중히 여기며 이들을 위한 교육과 장려를 아끼지 않는다.
8.우리는 긍정적이고 진취적인 삶을 살며, 세계안의 하나 됨을 잊지 않는다.

Our Purpose
The Korean Women’s International Network was first founded in 2001 along with the formation of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in South Korea. The network was created in order to discover, develop, and strengthen the network of Korean women, both in and out of Korea, in keeping with the global age.
The KOWIN Conference is attended by current regional directors and female leaders from such diverse fields as business, politics, public sector, law, media, religion, arts, sciences, and education.
KOWIN aims to systematize the collaboration among Korean women, both in Korea and abroad, tapping into the talent of these women to promote cultural pride.
Our Pledge
