The word further originates from the Latin pacificus, meaning “to make peace,” derived from pax (peace) and facere (to make). This origin reflects an approach that seeks not to win conflicts, but to prevent them-by aligning relationships, bridging differences across people, generations, and roles, and building stable connections within the community.
