Empowering Korean Women in Los Angeles
The name KOWIN Pacific LA carries meaning beyond a regional reference. Pacific points to our home on the Pacific coast while also evoking peace, balance, and steady connection.
Rooted in the idea of making peace, the name reflects our commitment to helping Korean women leaders build trust, bridge generations, and choose solidarity over competition, collaboration over confrontation, and coordination over division.

Global Network
The Korean Women’s International Network (KOWIN) was established in 2001 alongside the launch of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family in South Korea. KOWIN was created to identify, develop, and connect Korean women leaders in Korea and around the world.
Leadership Exchange
The KOWIN Conference brings together regional directors and women leaders across business, politics, public service, law, media, religion, the arts, science, education, and many other fields to share experience and vision.
Cultural Pride
KOWIN aims to organize collaboration among Korean women at home and abroad by connecting talent and resources worldwide, strengthening cultural pride, and expanding opportunities for collective impact.
